Why I Built Artiemergent
I’m Dwayne, founder of Artiemergent.
I bring more than 15 years of experience across business leadership, entrepreneurship, coaching, creative development and organizational strategy. Since founding Artiemergent in 2018, I’ve built consulting, coaching, digital education, community and accelerator programs, and developed books, business frameworks, assessments, workshops and more than 100 published LinkedIn articles.
Here’s why I built it.
There was a season of my life when I looked like I was moving forward, but inside I was drifting. Not because I lacked ambition or ability, but because I hadn’t yet decided who I was called to become.
Sports and my parents taught me discipline. Music taught me creativity. Leadership taught me responsibility. Yet each season exposed something deeper: talent alone doesn’t create purpose.
Everything changed when I understood the power of a decision. A decision isn’t merely choosing between options. It’s eliminating everything that keeps you from becoming who you were created to be. I stopped asking, “What should I do?” and started asking, “Who am I becoming?”
That question became the foundation of Artiemergent. I built it because I saw too many gifted people living the story I had lived: waiting, second-guessing, overthinking, and settling for lives that looked successful but felt disconnected from who they were created to become.
Today my commitment is simple. I help people see that their gifts are not accidents; they are assignments. I help them build businesses that create freedom without sacrificing purpose. That’s why I teach, write, coach and speak.
Our greatest tragedy isn’t failure. It’s never deciding.
Purpose isn’t found by accident. It’s discovered through courageous decisions, faithful action, and a willingness to become the person God created us to be.
